Melrose Hotel - Amsterdam

The rooms are incredible with an extra foldout bed.

Check in was early, hotel was functional, locations was peaceful close to the city center. Most of the staffs were amazingly helpful and very professional. The breakfast was good, there was lots of food to chose from. The service provided there was good. Besides, I parked across the street.

Glass walls in bathrooms offer little privacy if sharing rooms!!! Loud central ventilation system that can't be switched off can disrupt your sleep!!! Crammed room layout lacks space for luggage management!!!

The room had a lovely shower, but it lacked privacy due to poor layout.

We enjoyed our stay, especially exploring the enchanting 9 streets nearby. The staff genuinely cared for us. The inability to open windows for fresh air was challenging. Pro tip, consider keeping some essential clothes unpacked for quicker access, as storage is limited.

We spent 3 nights in a cozy room with a great selection of tea and coffee, and it was nice to help ourselves to hot drinks in the reception area anytime. The leisure room had comfy sofas and cool games to relax with. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn't allow outside guests, but that didn’t really change our fun stay! 😊
